ABOUT THE RACE
Designed to bring awareness to missing persons of color and benefit the Black & Missing Foundation, Inc., ‘Hope Without Boundaries’ is an inspiring, family-friendly 5K Run/Walk held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the National Harbor in Maryland. The race course takes runners and walkers along the beautiful waterfront of the Potomac River and across the Woodrow Wilson bridge for stunning scenic views. We welcome runners and walkers of all abilities and ages to bring your friends and family and join us on this day to Honor Our Missing.

Join us to bring awareness to the hundreds of thousands of persons of color who are missing across the nation.
PACKET PICKUP
Packet pick-up is where you will receive your ‘Hope Without Boundaries’ gear which includes the following: Official HWB 5K race t-shirt, bib number, timing chip and goodie bag. Please bring a copy of your registration. If you can, we strongly encourage you to pick up your goodies on Saturday, May 17 or Sunday, May 18, 2025. You CAN have someone pick them up for you if you are unavailable. Simply, forward a copy of your registration confirmation and have them bring it.
You can pick up your packet on race day under the Capital Canopy from 7:15AM to 8:00AM — make sure you get there early, the lines will be long!
* Please note: Packets will only be mailed for those who signed up for the Satellite 5K option. We are unable to mail packets if you registered for the in-person 5K. Please make sure you pick up your packet at Early Packet Pickup (May 17 or 18, 2025) or on Race Day (May 31, 2025).

AWARDS
Awards will be given to the top Male and Female in the following categories:
- Adult (18 and over)
- Teen (13-17)
- Child (12 and under)
All 5K finishers will receive an official Hope Without Boundaries finisher medal to commemorate their wonderful achievement.
You will be handed your medal after crossing the finish line. (Quantities are limited)

The race features a varied course with average terrain that includes some gravel surfaces and slight incline. Hover over the elevation graph for additional information about the elevation along the course.
TIMING
Timing services will be provided by Charm City Run. Disposable chips will be attached to all race bibs.

The race will go on RAIN or SHINE and we’ll try our best to make Race Day a spectacular day!
WATER/AID STATIONS
We want you to stay hydrated and will have plenty of fluids available for all participants. Water stations will be located in the kick-off/exhibit area, along the race route, and at the finish line.
RESTROOMS
Public restrooms are available at the National Harbor. The closest restroom is located near The Plaza.

DIRECTIONS
National Harbor’s convenient location makes it easy to get there from anywhere in the surrounding area. The destination is directly accessible via the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, the Capital Beltway (I-495), I-95, and I-295.
PARKING
Opening Ceremonies will be held on The Plaza. The closest parking garage to the Opening Ceremonies is the Mariner Garage (parking garage fees apply) located at Waterfront Street & Mariner Passage. Click here for parking hours and rates.

Those who prefer public transit will find it’s incredibly easy to make it to the National Harbor from both Maryland and Virginia.

ABOUT THE BLACK & MISSING FOUNDATION
The Black and Missing Foundation, Inc (BAMFI) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to bring awareness to missing persons of color; provide vital resources and tools to missing person’s families and friends and to educate the minority community on personal safety.
BAMFI was founded in 2008 by experts in the fields of law enforcement and public relations; two vital expertise needed to help bring awareness to and find those missing from our communities.
BAMFI creates public awareness campaigns for public safety and provides parents and loved ones of missing persons with a forum for spreading the word of their disappearance, with pictures and profiles of missing individuals. BAMFI also utilizes a variety of media platforms, including print, television, radio, and social media, to help locate those missing.
