The Hope Without Boundaries (HWB5K) 5K Run/Walk is the largest fundraising event held by the Black and Missing Foundation to help bring awareness and exposure to the hundreds of thousands of reported missing persons of color across the country. The event EMPOWERS our communities to take action to help find them or provide much needed answers or closure for their families. Proceeds from the event will go towards: funding for families of the missing, flyer distribution, financial support, victim recovery, and burial service assistance.
"We are often the last hope for many families, and that’s why we already have plans to expand the organization to serve even more people. We can’t do any of this without the support of the community and that’s why this walk is so important.”
— Founders, Natalie Wilson & Derrica Wilson
SPECIAL GUESTS

Nkechi Okoro Carroll
Creator of procedural drama “Found” (NBC)

Sonay Hoffman
Executive Producer and co-showrunner, “Found” (NBC)
“The work the Black and Missing Foundation does is so very critical and it is our honor to lend our voices to their annual 5K fundraiser. Members of our black and brown communities often go missing and are quickly forgotten. Their voices and lives deserve acknowledgment and amplification. Quite simply, they deserve to be found. And that is why our TV show Found exists, to help bring awareness.
Knowing that the efforts of our crew and cast can make a difference in bringing even just one person home safe and sound is truly why we do what we do on our show. And it is why the Black and Missing Foundation is so dear to our hearts. They are urgently doing the work, day in and day out, to bring all of our loved ones home.” — Nkechi and Sonay

“It’s important to me to shed light on issues that affect humanity. We can’t call ourselves a society if we don’t care about EVERYONE in it.Therefore, we must use our resources and our platforms to uplift and find those who are Black and missing.

AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR
Lamar and Ronnie Tyler

“The urgent mission of the Black and Missing Foundation (BAMFI) resonates deeply with our values and vision at Traffic Sales & Profit. Every year, thousands of individuals of color are reported missing in the U.S., yet the attention and resources dedicated to these cases are disproportionately low. BAMFI’s commitment to bringing awareness to these underreported tragedies, and their relentless efforts to provide support to the families affected, is not only necessary but vital. That is why we have chosen to support BAMFI through financial contributions raised at our conferences. By partnering with BAMFI, we aim to amplify their voice and mission, ensuring that no missing person—regardless of color—slips through the cracks. Together, we stand with BAMFI in their essential work to educate, advocate, and bring our missing home.” — Lamar and Ronnie Tyler
